A World in Which We Are No Longer Present
The world we see around us is not merely a failure. It is the direct consequence of collective madness and profound human sinfulness.
Its end is approaching — not sudden, not loud, but slow, almost imperceptible, and — most terrifying of all — almost entirely unresisted. If you look just beneath the surface, it becomes clear: we have already passed the point of no return.
Where do the roots of this total collapse lie?
In the hearts of people. Or perhaps in their minds?
You decide.
Capitalism, elevated to an absolute and fueled by infinite greed, has displaced every other value — and brought us precisely here, to this exact point in time and space.
Personal gain, success, money, power — all of it, like a drug, has robbed people of reason. The more someone succeeded, the wider the abyss of uncontrolled desire grew. And every new “achievement” only gave birth to yet another catastrophe awaiting in the future.
And now, standing already on the very edge, people do not even notice the approaching death — the death of old foundations, rules, authorities… perhaps even of human life itself.
They are still preoccupied with consumption. With the chance to “make it.” To earn even more. To deceive themselves with the illusion of happiness.
Across every continent, conflicts flare up — some local, others already full-scale wars. Yet behind it all lies only the clash of interests of a tiny handful of elites. And the price is paid by hundreds of thousands, millions of people just like us. And almost no one cares.
Is this the stage of acceptance? Or blind denial?
To me, it is complete, ostentatious ignoring.
We are emotional beings. In moments like these, qualities such as mutual aid, empathy, respect, altruism, and simple humanity should awaken within us.
But none of it is there.
Only cold indifference and denial of reality.
Technical progress and the digital realm have completely swallowed the emotional core of humanity. What once made us human has vanished.
So what now distinguishes us from machines?
Nothing.
We have become robots made of flesh and blood.
We are no longer here.
This is already a world in which we no longer exist.
