@MonstrousBami @Champizard14 Doesnt matter. Both Goku and Gohan werent at 100% when they beat Frieza and Cell. They were both injured during their fights. This narrative that Goku wasnt at 100% and thats why he lost doesnt have a leg to stand on. Not being at 100% comes with the territory of a close fight.

@ABP7771 @Champizard14 You do realize the Genkidama's power didn't increase after Goku got his energy back right ? He just didn't have the strength to push against Boo. But once he got it back, as a mere SSJ he pushed it and one shot Boo.

If he knew the power needed in the Genki Dama to beat Pure Buu he would have charged his ki and launched a Kamehameha of the same power in SS3. But Pure Buu would have held it back just like he did the Genki Dama. Except in SS3 he'd be draining ki

@MonstrousBami @Champizard14 Nope. Goku thought it would be enough despite the condition he was in. Goku's ki being restored with the DBs wasnt part of the plan. It was a last ditch effort.

SS3 Goku would have lost. Thats why Goku wants a rematch.

@paleomario66 @Woodlandbuckle Yes. "You fought hard all by yourself" and this is the manga, not the anime. So it is 100% canon. Also the fact that Goku wants to fight him 1 on 1 and train for it proves that Goku knows he's not strong enough to beat Pure Buu with SS3 even if he had time to charge.

@ver_zeke That's BS. He does out skill them. His IT Kamehameha was smart its just that Cell had regeneration. Goku in his base form was out skilling Frieza but he was too weak so it didnt matter. Against Pure Buu he needed to overpower him due to his regeneration.

@Champizard14 And yet this happens. The Genki Dama isnt enough with nearly the entire Dragon Ball universes ki in it. This would mean that SS3 Goku charged would need a stronger attack than this. Otherwise Pure Buu would just hold it back.
