We are sorry to report the passing of Ian Goodwin of @OldFinchleianFC, yesterday. Ian served as Match Sec for over two decades as well as Refs Sec for the @OBC1913. Our thoughts are with his family and friends and everyone at OFs at this time.
With a heavy heart I am informing you of the pass of our football match secretary Ian Goodwin. So many of you would have known Ian, who over many years of service at the Old Finchleians from playing to being a committed committee member.

@paulnicholls8@ECB_cricket As you say it’s a disgrace cutting the funding (which I understand is less than £15K per annum) for the generation who kept cricket alive in the last two decades, when the ECB really weren’t interested!!
@ECB_cricket Shame the same cannot be said of County Over 50s cricket! Cutting the funding is a disgrace for the organisation that should be growing cricket in all areas!

@santanderukhelp Struggling. Waited ten minutes for the call be answered (no problem with that) explained the problem and your colleague said “…I’ll investigate…”. Have now listened to music for fifteen minutes and have no idea whether I’ve been accidentally cut-off or need to hang on. Poor….
