The trouble is we in grave danger of not even making the champions league either, slot should of gone in December,its clear he’s not been offered a new contract based on this seasons performances & results , yes we’ve been unlucky with injuries but absolutely no excuses for that performance today not only has he lost the dressing room hes lost the Anfield loyal away crowd who you could very clearly here who they want in .

@glawth Try being the leader of a defense with your CB pairing losing his head every other week, a new young LB with basically no cover, RB constantly rotating, vet goalie hurt constantly. Hes doing his bad and has underperformed at times this season for sure. Virgil is not “woeful”

I have a feeling our team is not being kept fit enough in order to avoid injuries and keep starting 11 fresh as possible.. but at what cost?? We’re clearly losing games due to lack of energy and everytime we go down we can’t work our way back.. Need our boys way more fit

Virgil’s had to do more this szn, being drawn out & around the pitch, covering for Kerkez a lot early on & Konate all the time. Been stepping up into midfield more to cover holes & play slots system. More front footed & spread means more exposed to me, but he’s slower too surely.

@Winchester21107 @DaveOCKOP Don’t think it’s that simple. FSG know we can’t win prem, our aim is top 4. Slots been good enough in UCL ball and Alonso likely didn’t want to takeover mid season, wants a fresh fair start at it in summer. Slot better than any short term option, so hands tied a bit
