I’m so baffled at how this didn’t get more attention. But, there is a screwball noir about two young sweethearts that steal from the wrong family. It features a hysterical Damon Wayans and a ruthless Pam Grier. It’s fantastic, called Cinnamon (2023) and is available on Tubi.

@rarefilmm They were on HBO Go ages ago. Some of them exist on a VPN in other countries but I can never seem to get into whatever streaming service it is. Only place I can find them is at the UCLA archive and I’ve had no luck getting in there.

@AmazonMGMStudio I’m very happy I saw this before seeing this movie - and nonetheless I was still shocked. Great film, blew my mind. Loved it. IMO, I’d put this in front of the DCP. I know somebody with trauma is gonna see this movie and run out the theater. I know it ruins the shock.
