Visited craiglockhart campus of Edinburgh napier college today. The former craiglockhart war hospital for shell shocked soldiers like #wilfredowen this is the wilfred owen room

@DearRebelAda The Bible warns us good will become evil and evil become good. I unfortunately was in Edinburgh on pride day today I saw children everywhere with the rainbow flag pride flag draped around them. Very sad state of affairs

Both Jamie Varley and Stephen Ireland had child safeguarding roles. Stephen promoted adoption on his LGBTQ+radio show, suggesting “anyone” should be able to do it, before drugging a 12 year old boy with meth, raping him while unconscious, and filming it. The boy was also from state care: he had run away. Stephen’s boyfriend too was fully involved. Perhaps the demographic which routinely has unprotected sex with multiple unknown men, and invented Grindr to find them, is absurdly risk-taking, enslaved to their pursuit of sexual excitement, and therefore not wholly compatible with the care of parent-less children.

To the man in 2D, today you were flying from Orlando to Philly. I don’t know you, but I think you must have seen us somewhere. I was pushing a stroller, carrying a diaper bag, and also lugging an oxygen machine for my daughter. We were all smiles, heading to see her "friends" at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). We boarded the plane early, got settled in our window seat, and joked with the people around us about sitting next to my yelling-but-happy baby. Then, the flight attendant came over and told me you were offering to switch seats. You were giving up your comfortable first-class seat for us. I couldn’t hold back the tears as I walked down the aisle, while my daughter Lucy giggled! She could feel the kindness too… real, pure goodness. I smiled and thanked you as we swapped seats but didn’t get the chance to thank you properly. So... thank you. Not just for the seat, but for noticing us. For seeing that maybe things aren't always easy. For choosing to show us a random act of kindness. It reminded me how much good there is in the world. I can’t wait to tell Lucy about this someday. 8 years today we waved Laura off on her adventures - she spent the summer after A levels working as an intern in the Chicago mid term elections. She had the time of her life and I’m so glad. I’m also glad she didn’t know what was waiting round the corner. Such a waste 💔

So my neighbor who had his house raided the other day was arrested for CSAM (child sexual abuse material). You could knock me over with a feather. This is a guy that was a friend to everyone. The whole block *loved* him. He was the kindest neighbor we’ve ever had. I would never imagine he could be capable of this. This is your reminder to not trust anyone. I’m grateful I’m so careful when I tend my grandkids. I sit down & supervise them even when they’re right in our own front yard. I’m so glad I do because I don’t have to wonder if they were harmed.

Its been a long and emotional night. My daughter Lilla was hit by an e bike hit and run last night in Peckham - hopefully there is CCTV. Her sisters were with her. She is badly injured but now at home. It could have been so much worse. We are incredibly lucky. Then when she and her sisters and a friend arrived at A&E a drunk entered the trauma room where they were and exposed himself to them. The police were there and he has been arrested. The police were magnificent. I spoke to them when I arrived at 3.15 and he is now in custody. We all want to say a massive thank you to our amazing police, the wonderful staff at @kingscollegehospital - nurses and doctors. Calum and the team. From the bottom of our hearts. ❤️ they were all bloody superb.
