It is Sunday, April 7, 2024, and today marks a new era for Autism Awareness that includes *all* age groups *and* support needs. • It has been 5 years since I was diagnosed as autistic on August 29, 2019. This was so late into adulthood, at age 37, that it ruined* my socioeconomic development. Neither of the two mental healthcare providers I had accommodated it. • It has been 2 years since I discovered that autism was #neurological and therefore a constant, integral influence in my life. Not something that is ever* outgrown. I refer to this as ‘actual’ awareness. • It has been almost 1 year since I uncovered the disruptive #PTSD #trauma of my late diagnosis from 2019. What a treat the whole screen all to ourselves, we feel like celebrities, having our own private screening.

I need to hire someone to run some of my social media for me, like FB, TikTok, etc all the ones I don’t like to be on, lol Seriously I need to hire someone. Basically they’ll be in charge of posting content, I would email them stuff every night to post the next day, also answer questions, comments etc, redirect messages to me etc. Starting pay would be $50 a month to start, and perks like free art, and bonuses when I sell something.

Some people feel I am too negative about autism. I share positive stories, but some subjects there is no “balance”. Eg, when you talk about suicide, where is balance? Personally I share my reality & what I read from peer reviewed papers. If you disagree, pls don’t be rude.

This 1.5yo boy is doing so well in just about two weeks with us ! He’s a bit skittish with mops and vacuum cleaners & he doesn’t want to play with any of the toys we bought for him because apparently, he wasn’t allowed any at the breeder’s home as she had young kids 😔🙁 He had a bad hot spot on his nose area while in Utah and it was treated with steroids ; the pink patch is the new skin from that healing process - our vet asked us to apply animax ointment and coconut oil daily to the area for a week or two 😊 it makes him look so cute 🥰 it’ll blend in with the white of his snoot over time 😊 his stool culture showed Giardia which is common for dogs coming from a kennel environment and our vet’s prescribed a course of Panacur ❤️‍🩹 he enjoys being cuddled and kissed and is very much a quintessential lap dog at 110lbs 😂 he loves his walkies, he likes to chase birds, is very food motivated and he loves being a pampered only dog 😂 he couldn’t be a more perfect addition to our home 🥹🙏🤞❤️‍🩹 #dogsarelove #bernesemountaindog #SaturdayMotivation

@PaulaMc007 It is cruel and it is institutional tactic,corporal punishment. It's called seclusion. What these kids & adults need is empathy & understanding - they want to be with their friends & time to learn. Not punishment 4 being themselves. No one has the right to disable a human being.
