The harvest rain continues - @DPIRDbroadacre Mukinbudin weather station received 16 mm, Watheroo 15 mm yesterday. Looking at past Kambarang Noongar seasons (October-November) there's a trend of wetter finishes last 6 seasons (apart from 2023). #climate

#ausag - on this gobsmackingly innacurate statement. Your views? "net zero mean they (farmers) can no longer grow food and fibre here, we’ll be relying on imports from countries that care about their own people trying to earn a living, not about emissions. "

@ShaneLoveMW where is your evidence that renewable energy projects are “destroying the environment & a burden to rural communities” in the WA wheatbelt. How is Collgar Wind Farm a burden on Merredin when they have contributed $1.3mill to a community fund ? watoday.com.au/politics/weste…

@mattjcan How about West Australian farmers that export 90% of our production to international markets including Europe, which increasingly require sustainability criteria being met?

The PM's main argument against dropping net zero this morning was that, if we did, other countries would not be happy with us. Shouldn't we make decisions based on what is good for the Australian people?

Given @WAFarmers is bound to be apolitical by its constitution, were members fully informed on all policy options including the existing Net Zero legislation? Why were members not given more time to fully understand the Nationals policy position and its implications for Ag in WA?
