This is outrageous. In Ancoats, I made sure the Brit Awards artwork for Ancoats only went up on blank areas.
Manchester Councillors had the opportunity to shape where the artwork goes for their own wards, why did @Piccadilly_Lab

This response from Starmer is exactly the kind of nastiness that fills Labour councils up and down this country when their incompetence and hypocrisy are laid bare before them. I'm glad he's letting the public see it.

What she is describing is likely a family where all 3 children are severely disabled, as well as 1 parent. So that's max UC, DLA and CB.
Vanishingly few households have this. If you want disabled children to be punished, then have the damn courage to say so

A working family now needs £71k just to match the income of a jobless 3-child household. This morning Starmer will claim he’ll cut welfare, but EVERYONE knows he hiked taxes to record levels to fund a bloated welfare state. Spare us. He rewards dependency, not work. Don’t believe a word he says.

@jsmithjnr MCC is planning to have a more direct role in the parade organisation, w any events in the Gay Village largely hands off in terms of management /operation, as I understand it. Still very early stages and we're certainly going to keep them on their promise to bring a process fwd:)

We really are living through 80s-style rhetoric again. Trans people just want to live, work, socialise and get on in life, but a vocal minority of people are so focussed on making everyone fear trans people in some way.
The same tired old 'gay panic', again.

Lots of very strange and extreme responses here to my previous tweets. I do notice this (anonymous) fringe group within the Lib Dems is trying to encourage harassment of fellow party members online, it's quite sad really. Recommend they have some breaks off Twitter/X 😅
