@NYtoGa88 @JordanRaanan His balance…. His leverage, his ability to sit and and take on a strong fast, quick, rusher. He was put on the ground by spins and rips too many times. Go look at his tape then look at Andrew Thomas out of college. You’ll see what I mean.

Win now???? lol Yall are so fucking delusional it’s insane. Bottom 5 roster, giant question marks at nearly every position group besides pass rush. No franchise QB in place, no weapons besides an injured nabors, no linebackers, awful secondary, at best below avg oline outside of the left tackle

ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday. Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources.

@ShaunMorash He’s not getting traded. Defensive tackles have a long shelf life and can play forever, he’s gotta wait till after the draft and rookies are signed. Strahan skipped otas and camp. As long as he keeps his mouth shut he’ll be here and happy.

If the Giants get a 1st rounder plus for Dex, the idea of taking Love at 5 becomes more palatable. Go D Tackle with your other 1st you got and take another in round 2. Two d tackles that can start on rookie deals, Dex money gone.

They’ll get his deal done in the spring, can’t extend him now, once the draft is done and all the posturing is over and the rookies are signed they’ll get it done. They have the cap room. Unless he talks himself off the team.

@BigDashKnows @Giants Running QBs with someone small next to Lawrence will get us killed or force Lawrence to have to stay back a little and he wants sacks. You have 3 pass rushers that beat 1 on 1s with Carter, Burns and Dex, the 4th rusher can’t be creative (Alexander) adding Kayvon is a blitz.

@BigDashKnows @Giants On 1st and 2nd downs you can’t use a nascar package. On 3rd downs you need an anchor next to Lawrence. Signed Edmunds to play middle, so you’re taking Sonny at 5 to sit him on 3rd downs. I don’t see that happening, it’s going to be a struggle to get Kayvon on the field already

@BigDashKnows @Giants 3rd and long that can work but teams will put an extra receiver or pass catching TE and you’ll need a 4th corner. The goal should be to rush 4 and collapse the pocket with your edges and Lawrence is free to rush any way he wants up the middle. Alexander upfront frees Lawrence.

3rd and 7, #nygiants are playing, Burns (All Pro), Abdul Carter (3rd overall Pick), Dexter Lawrence (All Pro), Edmunds (FA) is playing the middle. 3-4 cornerbacks and/or 2-3 safeties, either way, Kayvon Thibodeaux, or Alexander are playing upfront so where will Sonny Styles fit?
