THE RE-EMERGENCE OF SENATOR SHEHU SANI. Senator Shehu Sani remains a towering figure in the political landscape of Kaduna Central (Zone 2), and his return in 2027 represents a strategic opportunity for renewed, people-oriented leadership. Between 2015 and 2019, his tenure in the Senate was defined by courage, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the masses. He distinguished himself as a fearless legislator who consistently spoke truth to power, amplifying the voices of ordinary citizens often neglected in governance. His representation was not only vocal but impactful—driven by a deep understanding of the struggles of the common man. Senator Shehu Sani’s legacy is rooted in tangible achievements. From youth empowerment initiatives to humanitarian interventions, he extended support to the vulnerable, assisted patients with critical medical needs, and facilitated the development of healthcare and educational infrastructure. His commitment to sponsoring students and uplifting communities demonstrated a leadership style anchored in service and inclusivity. Politically, his four-year tenure stands as a benchmark—widely regarded by many as surpassing the performance of others who held office for longer periods. His visibility, accessibility, and bold legislative stance elevated him beyond a local representative to one of the most recognized lawmakers not only in Nigeria but across Africa. As Kaduna Central looks ahead to 2027, the re-emergence of Senator Shehu Sani signals a return to purposeful representation—leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people, defends democratic values, and delivers measurable dividends of democracy.. If Tinubu eventually gets to win his second term next year, I genuinely hope he hands over to a North East politician with a South East person as Vice. I understand that no one will give anyone power for free but I would love to see NE/SE ticket in 2031. Nigeria will succeed.

He called it a “street convention”. And you’ll think the idiot wasn’t aware of what Wike was doing to deny citizens of the use of govt facilities. Tinubu, we will kick you out of that Asorock so you can go and join Oluomo in Oshodi since you’re just a glorified tout.

Q: Atiku is coming with 6.9 million votes, Peter Obi is coming with 6.1 million votes. Do you think you can match the other guys in your ADC? Amaechi: We are registering now in the ADC. Why haven't the 6 million registered with the ADC? Why do we have 3 million? If I were on the ballot (in 2023), I would have more than 6 million votes.

I was chased out of PDP by former President Goodluck Jonathan and his Wife, they took over the political structure in Rivers State and chased me out. I was also chased out of APC. - Amaechi

There has been a primary election in the ADC. I don't agree with those who say there should be a consensus candidate. A 49-year-old has been elected in Benin Republic. I'm the youngest candidate among all those running now, I'm 60. -Rotimi Amaechi Lol 😆

President Tinubu mocked Atiku on privatization: No one among them (coalition leaders) is without history, the head (Atiku) was the chairman of the privatization council of Nigeria at one time. They privatized the steel industry in Delta, is it working today? They privatized Ajaokuta, is it working today? They privatized another man’s political party; that one says no.

Q: These men (Atiku and Peter Obi) have been tested and have received their 6 million votes. Can you do better than them? Amaechi: But they haven't been able to defeat Tinubu, only someone who knows how to defeat Tinubu should run against him. I led the campaign for Buhari twice and delivered 15 million votes.

Say what you may about Atiku but his leadership of the Privatization program while he was Vice-President was impeccable.

The fact is Atiku or Peter Obi can't win the 2027 Presidential election on their individual own. First of all, I am not a member of any political party so my opinion is my personal right. If you look at the leadership composition of the ADC, majority are from the North. Party membership-wise, the North has more numbers than the South, in ADC. As for Obidients that are already pairing Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and think it is a winning ticket. It is not a winning ticket. He is only popular in Kano and maybe a bit in Jigawa. The ticket will excite the South but not the North as the North does not really trust Kwankwaso. Most of the stakeholders in South-South are supporters of Tinubu. Compare the numbers to the number of leaders in the North that are in ADC. In Southeast, many of the leaders may be in APC but there is an emotional attachment to Peter Obi. People don't much have much emotional attachment to Peter Obi in South-South, compared to Southeast. The South-West is a no-go area. We all already know. In South-West, I predict that alot of votes will be pumped out in frightening proportion. North Central have always been non-aligned. They gave the three major candidates in the last Presidential election, I think up to a million votes each. So this assumption that with Obi/Kwankwaso ticket, the election will be won by the opposition before 12noon is a big joke. This over-reliance on Kwankwaso is a big joke. What are you offering the North? The North loves power. Even the Kwankwaso is not that popular even in North West and in majority of the States in the North. And as for the Atiku supporters; one thing is true, Atiku is currently not that popular in the South. Atiku needs somebody to help him out in the South. Like I said earlier, the strength of ADC is their unity. If they are not united, the coalition is finished. I don't see that unity in ADC yet because the three Presidential aspirants are over-ambitious. So anyhow they want to arrange the ticket, without unity to get the campaign works done, before 12noon on election day, the opposition will lose the election. In Southeast, there are patterns ongoing in which many people are entrenching themselves in APC because of 2031 and 2039. It is part of why ADC is battling for acceptance in the South. Most of the places that ADC events have been attacked so far are in the South, e.g Cross River, Rivers and Edo. I advise the ADC to get its acts together. It's strength is its unity and not in the over-ambitiousness for power by any of them regardless of any ticket arrangement.
