Had a bit of time today to visit the artwork show along with #EPC8. Yep that is a #coccolithophore lamp.

"Causa" with ceviche. Our beloved seaweed "yuyo" (Chondracanthus chamissoi), in full reproduction, is crowning this delicious dish.

The free living form of Hormosira banskii is a different ecotype than the one commonly found on rocky shores. Larger vesicles and unattached, found in calm waters including estuaries and around mangroves. #phycologyfriday
