I was pleased to host representatives from Xiamen ITG Materials Co., Ltd. for discussions on investment opportunities within Ghana’s rubber sector. Our engagement focused on the immense potential of the industry, particularly the need to move beyond the export of TSR.

I had the honour of hosting a delegation from the Oxford Economic Policy Network (EPN), accompanied by representatives from the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, for a strategic engagement on opportunities within Ghana’s tree crops sector.

I had the honour of welcoming a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Thailand to the TCDA. The delegation was led by Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs at Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I visited the Bole Sub-Station of the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) in the Savannah Region to gain first-hand insight into research efforts aimed at transforming Ghana’s shea industry with improved seedings. They have shea seedlings varieties fruiting from 3 years.

My sincere thanks and appreciation to all friends, family, colleagues , comrade, staff, individuals known and unknown who took time to celebrate me during my birthday yesterday using all forms of designs , videos, messages, pictures etc etc . I’m most grateful.

At the Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026, I shared insights on investment opportunities in Ghana’s tree crops sector, emphasizing our vision for value addition and industrialization. Keynote speaker, President John Dramani Mahama, inspired UK investors with a message of hope.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, has led the signing of a strategic (MoU) between TCDA and Golden Forest Limited,aimed at accelerating the development and value addition drive within Ghana’s shea industry.

TCDA,in line with its mandate to regulate and develop the six selected tree crops under has officially announced the Minimum Producer Price (MPP) for fresh mango for the 2026 major season.The Minimum Producer Price for second-grade mango has been fixed at: GHS 5.22 per kilogram.

TCDA issues directive to all Tree Crops Nursery Operators, Service Providers and Input dealers in line with TCDA regulations LI 2471 ,2023 . All interested and eligible operators must take advantage to register and get the requisite license to operate as an actor in the space .

The CEO, TCDA, @AndyOOkrah , yesterday received H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, African Union High Representative for Silencing the Guns, during a courtesy visit. The visit served as an opportunity to formally welcome H.E. Dr. Chambas following the CEO’s assumption of office.

H.E @JDMahama 100,000-hectare oil palm plantation initiative is set to receive quality planting materials from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Oil Palm Research Institute (CSIR-OPRI),watch as the CEO of TCDA Dr. Andy Osei Okrah visited the facility to assess.

Under my leadership as CEO of TCDA we have signed two strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Pan-African Business Developers (PABD) and Save Our Lands Projects LBG (SOL) to drive innovation in beekeeping into tree crops and restoration of degraded lands for Rubber.
