🚨 UPDATE: Scope has reversed its decision and reinstated my choir Pleased to say Scope has now reinstated the invitation for my choir to perform at the London Marathon tomorrow. While this is a win, the distress and uncertainty caused by this situation has taken its toll. At present, only one fellow choir member has said they feel comfortable performing tomorrow. Understandably so. In a statement published on their website this evening, they’ve confirmed the choir is not political - and never was. They also acknowledge that my gender-critical beliefs, cited as the reason for dropping us, are lawful -and that those views are mine and separate from the choir as a whole. All of which we knew all along. However, they go on to describe gender-critical views as “highly polarising” and potentially “deeply upsetting and alienating” - language and ideological framing that echoes previous public commentary that presented my lawful, mainstream views as extreme. While this is a win, the distress and uncertainty caused by this situation has taken its toll. At present, only one fellow choir member has said they feel comfortable performing tomorrow. We are now considering our options.

Scope cancelled a whole choir who simply sing up beats songs at events for fun, booked for tomorrow’s marathon. Because one female member was targeted by an ‘anonymous’ trans activists for believing in biology. This is a charity that supports disabled people. Many will be women who want same sex intimate care! Cancel culture in action. Stop bowing to these women hating bullies.

The Scottish government is responsible for this sexual assault. The Supreme Court has confirmed women’s right to single sex spaces, a ruling the SNP continues to flout. If the victim wishes to sue, jkrwf.org can assist with all costs.

Paul Ockelton, from Innsworth, near Gloucester, denied sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 but was found guilty following a four-day trial in March. The former Liberal Democrat member who represented Innsworth on Tewkesbury Borough Council, was jailed for 18 months. He was also placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years and made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order. Ockelton carried out his assault in November 2021. He sat his victim on his lap and asked her "do you like this?" while he carried out the assault, the court was told. Ockelton denied he had touched her inappropriately, claiming he had been tickling her tummy and brushing her hair, but a jury rejected his defence. The victim’s mum told the court: “I am saddened that my daughter's wellbeing and confidence has been so badly shattered by his actions. “No-one has the right to touch my daughter and it is something that will affect her for the rest of her life. She is the most amazing and beautiful little girl.” Det Sgt Grace Craddock, of Gloucestershire Police, praised the girl’s bravery. “The child victim in this case has been unbelievably brave by letting her parents know what Ockelton had done to her,” she said. “The strength shown by her family throughout this difficult process too has been incredible, and I commend them for working with us to ensure Ockelton has been convicted and now sentenced for his offending.” Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Liberal Democrat leader Richard Stanley said it was a “shocking and disturbing case” and the authority’s thoughts are with the victim. “To be clear, Mr Ockelton withheld the fact that there were ongoing proceedings during his application process to stand as a councillor,”

Officers investigating a sexual assault at Finsbury Park Underground station in February have released this image in connection. At around 9.10pm on Saturday 25 February, a woman was sexually assaulted as she stood on the southbound Victoria Line platform. The man boarded the same train as the woman and left at Brixton station. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation. David Selwood, once a resident judge at Portsmouth crown court, was sentenced to a 12-month community rehabilitation order after authorities discovered dozens of illegal images on his personal computer. The material, involving boys aged between eight and 14, had been downloaded over several weeks. During sentencing, the court emphasized the seriousness of the offences, noting that such crimes contribute to the exploitation and abuse of children. While acknowledging Selwood’s previously distinguished career in both the legal profession and the military, the judge made clear that these factors did not diminish the gravity of his actions. Selwood had already resigned from his judicial post and admitted multiple charges related to the creation and possession of indecent images. His name has been placed on the sex offenders register, though the court determined that formal participation in a treatment programme was not necessary, instead recommending supervision and guidance through probation services. I'm not sure why we keep people like him alive, his offences are atrocious. A former company director has been jailed for 13 years after raping a woman in a hospital bed during a catalogue of violence and sexual abuse against victims in the Highlands. John Dodd, 41, perpetrated crimes against two women who were subjected to repeated rapes and sexual assaults between 2004 and 2022 in Tain, Alness, Inverness and Clashmore. He was found guilty of 14 charges of serious offences of violence and sexual abuse against the women at the High Court in Edinburgh. Judge Norman McFadyen KC told Dodd it was "almost unbelievable" he raped the first victim when she "was in a hospital bed, unwell and heavily pregnant." The judge said the victims were "subjected to violent and controlling behaviour and serious sexual offences." He added Dodd, who maintains he is innocent, had shown no victim empathy but instead indulged in "straightforward victim blaming". Dodd, formerly of Clashmore, near Dornoch, attacked his first victim at a cottage in Sutherland when he seized her clothing, pushed her onto a bed, lunged towards her resulting in her hitting her head and falling to the floor. He also repeatedly molested and raped the woman at a house in Alness when she was asleep on occasions between March 2006 and May the following year. In May 2006, he attacked the victim while she was in Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Dodd also pursued a course of abusive behaviour towards a second woman between 2021 and 2023 at locations in the Highlands during which he grabbed and kicked her and forced her fingers backwards. He shouted and swore at her, behaved aggressively, controlled what she wore, restricted her contact with family and friends, monitored and controlled her movements and use of her phone and social media. He also made her take photographs while her son was in hospital and followed her car, drove past her and stared at her. In December 2021, he sent the woman a photograph of his penis at Raigmore Hospital. Dodd also raped the woman and carried out sex acts on her on various occasions at addresses in Tain and Dornoch when she was asleep and when she was awake. On one occasion he abducted and raped the woman in a car. He locked the doors of the vehicle, preventing her leaving before carrying out the sex attack near Brora. On another occasion he attacked her at a cottage near Dornoch and pinned her against kitchen units and raped her. Dodd, who was remanded in custody at the end of the trial, followed the sentencing proceedings via a TV link to prison. The judge made non-harassment orders prohibiting him contacting or attempting to contact victims and placed him under license for three years. He was placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.

Five men who sexually exploited vulnerable young girls in Huddersfield have been jailed for a combined total of 45 years, following the latest convictions under West Yorkshire Police’s long‑running Operation Tendersea. Their sentencing brings the overall total to 312 years of imprisonment handed down across five major trials linked to the investigation. Judge Geoffrey Marson QC, speaking at Leeds Crown Court, condemned the men’s actions as “vile and wicked”, saying the treatment of the girls “defies understanding”. He noted that none of the defendants had shown any remorse. One 32‑year‑old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, received a 14‑year sentence for raping a 12‑year‑old girl, taking her virginity and leaving her bleeding in a park. He also carried out what the judge described as a “campaign of rape” against another teenage girl, repeatedly abusing her in a Huddersfield park and using sleeping pills to overpower her. The court heard how the victims—many of them extremely vulnerable—were groomed, given drugs and alcohol, and passed between groups of men who pretended to show affection while exploiting them for sexual gratification. Judge Marson said the girls were manipulated into believing they were cared for, when in reality they were being targeted by predatory offenders. He described one case in which a terrified 12‑year‑old was relentlessly pursued. Men repeatedly called her carers demanding access to her, even after she was moved to another city for her safety. She feared she would be killed if her phone details were handed to police. Umar Zaman, 31, and Samuel Fikru, 32, both of William Street, Huddersfield, were each sentenced to eight years after being convicted of two counts of rape. Zaman has absconded and is believed to be in Pakistan. Another 32‑year‑old man was jailed for eight years for a single count of rape, and a 38‑year‑old man received seven years for attempted rape. Their identities are also protected for legal reasons. A sixth defendant, Banaris Hussain, 36, also of William Street, was convicted of one count of rape and is due to be sentenced on Monday. Operation Tendersea has now resulted in 27 men being convicted for offences relating to the grooming and sexual abuse of children in Huddersfield, marking one of the region’s most extensive investigations into child sexual exploitation.
