@Maynoothgeog My condolences. I have found memories of Martin from my time in Newcastle.

Our friend & colleague Martin Charlton died this morning in hospital in England. Every one of us who shared time with Martin will have our own memories to pour over with delighted smiles. He brought a real sense of fun to intellectual work because he loved it all so much.

@jamescummings why not both, with a sprinkling of self serving. We either do nothing and suck up massive deaths. Or we do something to limit impact till a vaccine is produced. Both will knacker the NHS and take longer than 12 weeks.

@arrivayorkshire The payzone shop is unable to do refunds due to Arriva policy. They only have a 15 minute window for refunds on your hardware. @arrivayorkshire you should really sort this out.

@arrivayorkshire The government have closed schools due to #covid19UK and we are all under financial pressure. Why can't my 2 children get refunds for their monthly bus pass bought at a payzone point? This is exploitation and grossly unfair.

@arrivayorkshire thanks. If that's the case then you'd better let your support teams know. Because they are telling people that as the buses are running it's not your problem. #whichIsntNice
