Why does Tencent adopted this strategy for so many of its gaming endeavours? I can only speculate, but I think its a smart strategy to protect its many projects from the eventuality of possible backlash against Tencent (for whatever reason)...

Everybody is saying "Tencent announced Light of Motiram"...but actually, you probably won't find any upfront mention of Tencent in this game. Tencent hardly ever announces games. That's part of their "stealth publishing strategy" that I've been talking about for years...🧵
