Bungie should relaunch Destiny 2 and turn it into Destiny Infinity ONE game where the ENTIRE Light and Darkness Saga is available From Destiny 1 to Renegades, and then move forward with brand new content and story Multiple games sucks for narrative and New Player experience

@kambyyy It really is. I learned something new today. I was well aware about Bungie walking away from Halo because it was Microsoft's IP but I had no idea Marathon had been pitched as early as it was. It was a real eye opener

MARATHON IS MENTIONED IN THE 2010 BUNGIE-ACTIVISION DEAL?! How did no one mention this, like ever? This is huge. Marathon was being pitched right around the same time Destiny was, and at the same time Halo: Reach was just about to drop. This is unbelievable.

@highonlifegame I just have the first game. Don't have Knife dlc or High 2. I just got no interest in those, but I absolutely love the first High on Life. I don't feel the need or want to play the sequel. It's complicated... and weird. Idc 😏

@LukeCB14 Too much technical bloat. I think they could do a D3 on Tiger, though. They used it for Marathon and if they were going to make a D3, they're probably going to use it again. Maybe with a rebuild and renamed.

My one ‘if I could have a singular wish’ would have been for Harbinger to return. I’ve poured many hours into Destiny 2 in the last few days and it’s almost all been planetary exploration, one of my favorite things to do as a New Light. Seeing large groups of Guardians roving the public events is incredible. #destiny2

@Whimsy_Wizard I agree with what said about the actual Mark IV though. Give it the Mark IV helmet Chief wears in the CE prequel and boom, Mark VII. Successor of the iconic Mark VI worn by Chief in H2 and 3. (I guess you could say 4 as well.)

I've actually been meaning to talk about this for a while. Its not that CE's armor is out of place, it's what we've all collectively decided Mark IV looks like. Bungie originally designed the Mark IV in the first photo, but this was all we had to go off of until Halo Wars. I've always personally thought that the Orion armor (The Macworld 1999 Armor) would have made for a good canon Mark IV, considering it literally predated the Halo CE Mark V design. During the making of Halo Wars, the last two photos were concepted. It's far closer to the Mark V in design principles, however for the sake of fitting in an RTS and being easily recognizable from a birds-eye view, they went with what we know now as the Mark IV. Broad shoulders, muscular armor and solid vambraces and grieves similar to Halo 3's Mark VI. I can assume this was done to make it more visually recognizable as Halo, especially off the back of Halo 3. The problem is, that design looks more advanced than the Mark V, almost like it should have been a Mark VII and came after Halo 3, not way before. It looks like a design evolution of the Mark VI, and yet it was cool enough and iconic enough to be used forever more as the visual representation of the Mark IV. Part of this blame can absolutely be laid on 343i, deciding to go with a clearly exaggerated and anachronistic design from an RTS and making that canon. Part of it the blame is simply that the Halo Wars design rocks, it's really cool looking, it just should never have been the canon Mark IV. The Mark IV should have been more like the early concepts, bungie's old blueprint, or the macworld armor. It should have shared the same design principles as the Mark V, but in a rougher, earlier form. CE's new remake has decided to go with a strange combination of the anime Legends design crossed with the body of Halo Wars, and I can't fault them. The damage has already been done after all.

@Garbear0II9 Didn't really play Infinite until firefight was added. It became my main game after that. My most played game of 2025 according to xbox. I guess being such a huge fan of the lore is the reason I'm only invested in the PvE side of Halo

PvE should be the future of Halo. I think Firefight should be as big if not a bigger pillar than PvE, I would adore a full Firefight game
