Slavery is shitty no matter how you look at it. That doesn't absolve the part people played. If African's are guilty for selling their own, then the wealthy white land owners are guilty of buying. This reasoning makes no sense. I know the idea of toxic anything can be exaggerated but what is said here also doesn't make sense. It doesn't account for personal accountability and assumes that because women are more likely to be teachers and then it exaggerates the numbers. Approximately 23% of US children are raised by a single parent and 80% of those are mothers. That means that around 18.4% of single parents raising kids are woman. It has nothing to do with masculinity and more about one side shitting on the other.
