@luminolaudio I’ve often thought that and a few months later something comes along to eat up the extra power. No harm future proofing a bit. I’ll get one before the year is out.

Anyone have issues with Focusrite Red 16Line? Mine stopped putting out any audio. Working fine this morning but stopped after lunch. Thunderbolt light is green. Connected to Mac and Pro Tools. Audio metering on interface and Rednet control but no output on line outs or headphones

@WeAreFocusrite Thanks guys. I think the main issue was actually with my thunderbolt dock. For some reason the unit changed clock source and shut all output faders down when it was having connection issues. I have it connected straight to the computer now. Thanks for the quick reply.

@luminolaudio If I can get it back up and running I’ll have to get a cheap backup interface that can do surround and get me out of a pinch.

@luminolaudio Has that only been happening recently or all along? I’ve been getting a few of those messages in the last few weeks. I’ve tried both ports and a different cable and on a laptop to take the computer out of the mix but no joy anywhere.

@AudioPost I only had it a handful of times, mainly on launch but this one was while I’m working. I also had an interface error today. Fun times.

Ok what’s with this annoying white box that pops up in protools 😩

Found an annoying bug in @AvidProTools 2023.6, Instant crash if I render audiosuite, but only if the new clip is touching another clip. Renders fine if I move away from the other clip. Found it using Undertone but replicated with other plugins, anyone else fancy giving it a go?

@Tommythecatz But how will we know it modelled on something analogue?! The warmth and the vibe and the feel just aren’t enough on their own!!

@Tommythecatz @lydrummet @curleecronin @Dolby Holy Shiiit! Guys that was EPIC. From the opening logo to the end. The dialogue treatment, the fx, the creaky foley details, the score. As good as anything I’ve ever heard. I’ll have to go again for the atmos mix just to catch more details. 👏👏👏🤯
