IN BOBO WE TRUST I’ve been holding $BOBO for almost two years — since I won one of my first JB cabal contests by @_seacasa. After stepping away from web3 and coming back, I went through it all: selling bobo, buying bobo back, and even losing a solid amount on the sol wormhole (my fault cuz im slowpoke lmao). But I never stopped believing in the narrative or the character. I’ve been in NFTs since 2020. I started as a Pepe artist — that meme literally changed my life. Over the past two years, I’ve created around 100 Bobo pieces: from quick 5-minute sketches to full animated cards and large-scale artworks that took 5–20 hours each. At this point, I’m more of a Bobo artist. He’s the main — and often secondary — character across almost everything I make. Even now, with no commissions and barely any money left, I’m still drawing a new Bobo piece — because I genuinely enjoy it, and it helps me disconnect from everything going on in the world. I don’t use AI to create Bobo art (maybe only for quick memes), because I believe a character like this deserves to be drawn by hand, not generated in 2 minutes. The image attached shows most of the works I currently have access to — I skipped the smaller ones. @bobocouncil is inevitability. He already has a place in web3 — but now it’s time to push out the old guard and those who made it to the top by accident. These are tough times, especially for artists. If you want to support people who contribute to projects like Bobo without expecting anything in return, the best way is simple: collect their work.
