2000 through about 2012 saw a lot of rookies winning and winning often. I think that skewed expectations for a while. No doubt Connor is struggling, but it’s SUPPOSED to be hard.

Gutted for CZ. It’s been a tough rookie season with horrible results. 11 races of finishes 25th or worse this season out of 15 point-paying events.

He's not overrated. He's a rookie in a series that is very hard to make the jump into from any series, and that's not understood enough. And it doesn't help the limited amount of track time NASCAR gives these teams.
