Mahra Baloch urged the international community to take immediate notice of the deteriorating situation and called for concrete steps to ensure accountability and the protection of fundamental human rights in Balochistan.

This statement is issued as part of BNM’s month-long campaign to highlight ongoing human rights abuses in Balochistan. #BNMGlobalCampaign #HRC61 #BNMatHRC61 Today, Saleem Ellahi Baloch addressed the Council, speaking both as an activist and as a brother. He recounted the enforced disappearance of his elder brother, Zahid Baloch, former Chairman of BSO Azad, who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces on 18 March 2014 and has not been produced before any civil court since. Saleem also recalled the assassination of his brother, Shah Jahan, in 2025, and raised urgent concerns about the continued illegal detention of activists such as Mahrang Baloch and leaders associated with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee. Here is complete text of his speech : Mr President, I appear before you not just as a witness, but as a brother. My elder brother, Zahid Baloch, former Chairman of the Baloch Students Organization (Azad), was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces on 18th March 2014. It has been 12 years, yet he has never been presented before any civil court, nor has our family been informed about his wellbeing. But my family’s pain did not end there. Collective punishment is one of many tactics being used by the State to suppress political voices. On 15th March 2025, another elder brother, Shah Jahan, was assassinated by state-sponsored death squads in retaliation for my political activism. His assassination was deliberate and intended as a message to anyone who dares to speak out against injustice in Balochistan. Recently Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti Openly Mentioned in a Press Conference, State will confiscate assets and impose travel ban to family members of political activists in the name of so-called counter Terrorism Act. Mr President, Families of the forcibly disappeared are being displaced, their homes being destroyed, and their assets seized and controlled by the military. These tactics are designed solely to silence those who raise their voices for their loved ones. Human rights violations in Balochistan are escalating at an alarming pace. Political and human rights activists are being silenced in brutal and inhumane ways. Mahrang Baloch, human rights activist, is still imprisoned along with other BYC activists on fabricated charges. The video featuring a Baloch woman (Farzana who was abducted on 1st December 2025) alongside the so-called Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, in which she is made to label Dr. Sabiha @SabihaBaloch_ as a handler of suicide bombers. This is highly condemnable. This is not an isolated incident, but part of a systematic campaign to silence Baloch activists. Dr. Sabiha has long been targeted for her peaceful activism. Earlier, her father was forcibly abducted in an attempt to coerce her into abandoning her struggle for human rights. The woman seen in the video was herself reportedly abducted and held incommunicado for months. Subjecting a disappeared individual to prolonged detention and torture, only to extract a forced statement, is a grave violation of human rights and a clear example of coercion. This act reflects a broader pattern in Balochistan, where enforced disappearances are not only used to silence individuals but also to weaponize victims against other activists. Such tactics aim to spread fear, create mistrust, and dismantle peaceful movements advocating for justice. We categorically reject these fabricated allegations against Dr. Sabiha. The international community, especially the United Nations Human Rights Council, must take urgent notice of these abuses in Balochistan and hold those responsible accountable.

افغانستان پر حملہ کی بنیادی وجہ ڈیورنڈ لائن اور افغان اقتدار اعلیٰ پر سودا بازی سے انکار ہے۔ دل مراد بلوچ بلوچ نیشنل موومنٹ کے سیکریٹری جنرل دل مراد نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان کی جانب سے کابل ہسپتال پر بمباری انتہائی شرمناک اور انسانیت سوز ہے۔ افغان سرزمین پر پاکستانی فوجی جارحیت افغانستان کی آزادی پر براہِ راست حملہ، سنگین جنگی جرائم اور قابلِ مذمت ہے۔ بلوچ نیشنل موومنٹ جنگ کی اس مشکل گھڑی میں غیور افغان قوم کے ساتھ ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بلوچ قوم اور افغانستان کے عوام کے درمیان رشتہ محض ہمسائیگی کا نہیں بلکہ تاریخی اور برادرانہ ہے۔ ہماری تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ ہم مشکل کی ہر گھڑی میں ایک دوسرے کے دست و بازو بنے ہیں۔ ہم روایات کے امین ہیں اور آج بھی بلوچ اپنے برادر اور غیور ہمسایہ کے ساتھ ہیں۔ دل مراد بلوچ نے کہا کہ پاکستان اپنی عسکری طاقت کی زعم میں یہ بھول بیٹھا ہے کہ اس نے اس افغانستان پر حملہ کردیا ہے جس نے سوویت یونین اور حال ہی میں دنیا کی سپر پاور امریکہ اور دنیا کی سب سے بڑی فوجی اتحاد نیٹو کو شکست دی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے ان حملوں کی ابتدا چند بے بنیاد عذر کی بنیاد پر کی، لیکن دنیا جانتی ہے کہ پاکستان کا مسئلہ ڈیورنڈ لائن اور آزاد و خودمختار افغانستان یا افغان اقتدار اعلیٰ ہے۔ ڈیورنڈ لائن قیام پاکستان سے پہلے کا مسئلہ ہے جس کے تین بڑے فریق ہیں یعنی پاکستان، افغانستان اور بلوچ۔ اسے کوئی بھی ایک فریق اپنی منشا یا مفاد کے مطابق حل نہیں کر سکتا۔ افغانستان میں مختلف طرز حکومتیں آئیں، بادشاہت، کمیونزم، مذہبی اور صدارتی نظام تک، ہزاروں اختلافات کے باوجود تمام حکومتیں ڈیورنڈ لائن کے نقطے پر متفق تھیں۔ اس لیے یہ مسئلہ زندہ رہا۔ ابھی بھی بیس سالوں تک پاکستان کرایہ دار کی طرح استعمال ہو کر بھی امریکہ و نیٹو سے منظور نظر کے ذریعے ڈیورنڈ لائن کا مسئلہ حل نہیں کر سکا۔ اس کی بنیادی وجہ یہ ہے کہ قومی وجودی مسائل حکومت نہیں بلکہ قوم حل کرتی ہے، اور کوئی بھی قوم اپنی موجودگی کا ایک حصہ کسی دشمن قصائی کے ہاتھوں از خود کاٹنے کی اجازت نہیں دیتی، اور یہی افغان قوم کر رہا ہے۔ دل مراد بلوچ نے کہا کہ پاکستان کا دوسرا بڑا مسئلہ آزاد و خودمختار افغانستان ہے۔ سوویت یونین کے خلاف مغربی اتحاد کا حصہ بننے کا فیصلہ ہو یا امریکہ و نیٹو کے ساتھ، پاکستان ایک جانب کرایے کے پیسے سے اپنی معیشت چلاتا رہا اور دوسری طرف افغانستان کو تباہ و برباد کرنے میں شامل رہا تاکہ افغانستان بطور ریاست مستحکم ہو کر آزادانہ طور پر اپنی قومی تقدیر اور قومی مفادات کی تعمیر نہ کر سکے۔ عشروں تک پاکستان نے افغانستان کو اسٹریٹیجک ڈپتھ کے طور پر اپنے عسکری ایجنڈے میں سرفہرست رکھا تاکہ نام نہاد ڈیورنڈ لائن سے کوئی خطرہ نہ ہو اور افغانستان کی بالادستی پنجابی مفادات کے زیرنگین ہو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ افغانستان نے پاکستان کی یہ دونوں عزائم خاک میں ملا دیے ہیں۔ آج کا افغانستان نہ پاکستانی اسٹریٹیجک ڈپتھ کا حامی ہے اور نہ ہی ڈیورنڈ لائن کو بین الاقوامی سرحد تسلیم کرتا ہے۔ اس لیے پاکستان خطے کی کشیدگی اور مغرب کے مہرے کی حیثیت سے مواقع سے فائدہ اٹھا کر افغانستان پر حملہ آور ہے۔ تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ ہتھیار پھینکنا پنجابی کے حصے میں آیا ہے، افغانستان کے نہیں، اور یہ تاریخ کسی بھی وقت دہرائی جا سکتی ہے۔ urdu.zrumbesh.com/25603/
