@RSnowcraft How Backloggd will treat these restricted games is still being decided, so in the meantime no other games will be removed.

@RSnowcraft RapeLay is removed because it was restricted on IGDB for violating the content policy we share with them. The Guy Game currently is not restricted, although they're swamped with a backlog of reports so it might just be a matter of time.

Hey all, wanted to give a quick update as the week ends. Current priorities are on revising the community guidelines, revamping the report tool with more options, and building out controls for moderators to action on reports more consistently. Hoping to ship by next week. (1/2)

@nanashiomega The site has an appeal tool for this reason, they just need to edit out the first sentence referencing moderation to have the review stay.

@BackloggdApp What about cases like this user whose review was removed for alleged "review bombing"? Is that type of activism prohibited, while other forms are perfectly acceptable depending on what the moderator deems appropriate? x.com/kijuler/status…

@PinClock The private idea was for a 3rd tier of restricted games that currently violate the content policy, not all adult games. There was a lot going on in that post so I apologize for the confusion. The private logging idea is also just one idea that is still being decided.

@BackloggdApp That is great news! The original post saying reviews on Erotic/Adult games would be private was deeply concerning. Glad to see this statement!

@PinClock Still working out the specifics, but yes that is the general idea. Once the adult toggle is implemented, reviews would be accessible like they normally are for games labeled as erotic.

@BackloggdApp Could you please clarify if the reviews of adult games like Black Souls will be public to users that have the Adult Games toggle enabled?

I also want to clarify the Black Souls removal. It was always meant to be a temporary lock while moderation tooling was improved to better handle the reviews coming in. The games were restored yesterday with reviews / ratings coming once the tools are there to support it. (2/2)

@NightCloud98 To change the cover, navigate to the log editor by and select the cover from there! I agree the option could be less hidden and I'm working on ways to make it more obvious!

@BackloggdApp For some reason it doesn't seem to be working for me? I'm new to Backloggd, so I'm still getting used to some of the UI, but clicking on the cover during editing in desktop mode just sends me back to the game's specific page. Any ideas?

@nab4444 They are based on localization data from IGDB and game editions. If you can see them on their IGDB page like this then it still needs fetching.
