Due to a COVID-19 outbreak in Eastern Connecticut, Backus, Windham and Natchaug hospitals are reinstating visitor restrictions at all inpatient and outpatient locations. Exceptions will be made for maternity services and end of life care. bit.ly/2StT0Nm

On #overdoseawarenessday we also want to recognize the signs and make a difference in 2020. International Overdose Awareness Day spreads the message that overdose death is preventable. Thousands of people die each year from drug overdose. They come from all walks of life.

Today we aim to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma associated with drug-related deaths. We also stop to recognize the immense grief felt by family members and friends of those individuals who have died from a drug overdose. #stopthestigma #overdoseawarenessday
