Obviously there are some instances further back, but I generally believed people defending bad games like Dragon Age 2 or more modern stuff like Starfield were just loud people with horrible taste, not people glued to a twitch stream publishers assumed as their main audience

Starting to come to the conclusion that like 90% of vitriolic discourse in the games industry the last 10 years and defense of bad developers / bad games has been largely driven by people who don't even play video games

Finished it launch weekend, but RE9 Requiem is a solid entry into the series. The care center, basement, and pre city Leon segments are some of the highest highs RE has hit ever, but the second half drags on too long for its own good, and relies too heavily on nostalgia. 8.5/10

in my opinion, if you don't have the means to experience a videogame yourself then you should simply not be a fan of it, there are more hobbies out there

@VikingNations Sure, and that's 95% probably what's going to happen, but if JJ has a Josh Allen 2020 like offseason and comes back an immensely better QB, while Kyler struggles learning the offense, they're going to start JJ.
