Imagine Siri booking flights, negotiating hotel prices, and paying other AI agents on your behalf without asking you to click a thing. That’s exactly where we are heading. AI agents are evolving from passive tools into active participants in the economy, capable of making decisions, exchanging value, and collaborating with other agents in real time. The problem is that while these agents are moving forward, our financial systems are not. These agents do not have banks. They cannot wait for multi-day settlements or navigate high-fee, human-centric payment processes.
