While we had hopes that Alexei Navalny would be released and be able to take part in a transition to a democratic and free Russia, we all knew that this would be unlikely. It is with sadness that we learn of this this step backwards for the Russian people. (3/3)

In creating storylines for our latest title, Supreme Ruler 2030, we of course have had to address Russia. Our scenarios and storylines involving Yevgeny Prigozhin were driven by his own actions. Yet our storylines involving Alexei Navalny were created with trepidation (2/3)

As creators of a modern geo-political strategy game, we often make predictions (sometimes hopeful and sometimes sarcastic) about the leaders and events of our world, such as simulating a Trump presidency before the 2016 elections in Supreme Ruler Ultimate. (1/3)

@zoomdiepie We've looked into unreal engine in the past but the scope of the game does not make that engine a good fit, unfortunately

@BattleGoat will any other supreme ruler games supported by unreal engine 4 or 5 ??

@jwmillion01 @Steam I know that parts of the new interface can be a bit disorienting for SRU players, although it's more similar than different - although with a lot of SR2020 ideas returning too. There is some love for the new UI, and some hate, and we're listening to feedback on this.

@BattleGoat @Steam Is there anyway you can make this go with SRU like the other games so it’s more streamlined? I’m used to how that game is set up and don’t want to have to keep switching between SRU and SR 2030.

I love this. It reminds me of Supreme Ruler 2020 by @BattleGoat, a kind of game that I boot up "just to play for a 30 minutes before bed" and end up 30 minutes after 3 a.m

@pascalc23 @damoch1994 Yup, Supreme Ruler 2030 is definitely a Grand-Strategy & War game, with relatively long play times for each Campaign or Sandbox game (although there can also be shorter Scenarios). Although shorter Multiplayer skirmishes can also be done in a Sandbox.

@damoch1994 @BattleGoat I checked out the trailer of Supreme Ruler. It seems to be more of a grand-strategy & war type of game. Probably with very long play time on each campaign. Border Clash really is more like Risk. You play either NPCs or your friends & a game lasts between 30m-2h. Then next one.

@ErnestPresident SRU is definitely one of the more detailed wargames for modern world conflict! But I think Supreme Ruler 2030 is the "near future simulation" they're really going to want to see :)

@Ascension125G Yes, we use a single currency, which is effectively USD / Euro value (Conveniently they are within 10% of each other at the moment). Settled on $ symbol although that's moddable. Considered multi currency, but complicates the gameplay a lot.

All currency representations in Supreme Ruler Ultimate are in USD, if I'm not mistaken. @BattleGoat, is that the case?
