I was in the car listening to an old RC Sproul message, “The Christian Man in the Church.” It had me reflecting on how the Christian man will always face a struggle when he seeks to be faithful to the Lord. We see it in Jacob, who was given the name Israel—“for you have struggled with God and with men and have prevailed” (Gen. 32:28). We struggle with the world and with other men, including Christians. But by faith we shall prevail.

Meanwhile, Julia Letlow’s fiancé is the chief lobbyist for carbon capture sequestration, and he and Julia stand to make a lot of money from this industry.
I see that as a conflict of interest.
I’ve been clear: Louisiana should not be a toxic dumping ground for the entire nation. It’s not good for Louisiana.
