@WhiteHouse I like seeing this focus on mental health, especially for veterans.
But inflation is still hitting people pretty hard right now. Hopefully that’s part of the bigger picture moving forward.

@BBCWorld This is interesting.
AI isn’t just getting smarter, it’s starting to find real vulnerabilities in systems.
Feels like something we’ve seen in movies.
What happens if it starts manipulating systems or hits the wrong one?
This could get intense fast if we’re not smart about it.

@DailyMail If this is even partly true, that’s bigger than politics.
These are the people supposed to protect us.
If there are concerns at the top, what does that mean for everyone else?

Seeing headlines like this, true or not, raises a bigger question.
Federal agents and career government employees go through background checks, investigations, and strict vetting before they can even do the job.
Appointed leaders go through a review process, but it can vary and is often political.
Elected officials don’t go through a formal vetting process at all.
Why are the standards so different?
Shouldn’t accountability be consistent across the board?

@TealBucket @remarks All good, that’s the beauty of free speech. Everyone makes their own call. Just sharing my perspective. Cheers🍻

@Bennett_Method @remarks It would hurt them worse. Don't care /shrug

I get the concern, but an embargo on one of our closest allies would hit us too. Canada is one of our biggest partners, millions of jobs depend on that relationship, and supply chains especially in autos are deeply connected across the border. Even tourism takes a hit both ways. There’s got to be a better way to handle it.
English

@Bennett_Method @remarks sounds like time for an embargo on canada.

@NewsWire_US Losing jobs while posting record profits feels like a trend that’s been getting more lopsided for decades.
At what point does that become a problem for the system itself?
If consumers don’t have money to spend, what keeps the engine running?
English

@BernieSanders I understand the concern here, but why does history keep repeating itself instead of changing?
We’ve been hearing this for years from people in power.
If the current approach isn’t solving it, what actually does?
English

@elonmusk @ImKingGinger People forget, consumers drive the economy.
When people don’t have money to spend, things slow down or contract.
We see that in every recession, and you can even feel some of that pressure starting now.
English

Your statement is true if goods & services output doesn’t rise dramatically due to AI/robots, but false if it does.
In a normal economy, issuing more money simply increases the dollar price of the existing output of goods & services, meaning people do NOT get more stuff.
If AI/robots massively increase goods & services output, then you actually MUST issue dollars to people or there will be massive disinflation. Prices are simply the ratio of goods & services output to number of dollars.
English

If everyone gets a million dollars.
No one has a million dollars.
I'm not sure why no one understands this.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.
English

@AndrewYang I get the idea, but the real question is at what level.
Is it enough to live, or just enough to get by while wealth concentrates at the top?
The economy has to work for everyone, not just the people who own the systems.
English

@remarks I get what he’s trying to say, but this feels like painting with too wide of a brush.
Some politicians use faith as a tool, some actually try to live it.
Better to judge actions than assume intent.
English

@SpencerHakimian Not trying to be partisan, but shouldn’t we be focusing on the here and now instead? How does attacking past presidents actually help? It never really has.
English

@popcornspops4 @WhiteHouse Wow, that’s a big difference. Hopefully this gets addressed...would be great to actually see overtime come through tax free.
English

@Bennett_Method @WhiteHouse You’re not. I made 23k in OT and only got to “write off” 6800

@LeadingReport Sounds promising, I’d just like to see the details. What’s the cost, and are there any strings attached?
English

I get why people support him, and I also see the other side. I’m just looking for consistency when it comes to the 2nd Amendment, transparency, and surveillance. If I vote for you and you flip flop on your promises, I’m not just going to fall in line. That’s the whole point of politics, we still have a choice.
English

@Bennett_Method @catturd2 He's also fighting for our 2nd Amendment in Congress. He is a true descendent of our founding fathers ❤️
