Some of my teammates and I simply reacted instinctively, we celebrated the draw just like we would among friends, shortly afterward, I exchanged messages with Edin Džeko. We have a great relationship, we’ve played together, and we even met on vacation. I congratulated him, he did the same, and he told me that the best team should win. The video was filmed in a setting where there were also family members and children present, I find it a bit disrespectful that it was shared. I’ve read that we were described as arrogant… I don’t understand how we could be, considering we haven’t qualified for the World Cup for twelve years."

Pope Francis was the rare leader who made us want to be better people.
