My biggest problem with #4C24 the obnoxious security people hanging around the halls. I found myself over performing with my even how I walked so they wouldn't stop me: Make my badge visible and walk like I knew where I was going thus proving I belonged.

just got an email that began:
“it’s going to be a busy weekend getting ready for the first day of classes…”
what is the point of weekends anymore if the expectation is we’re going to be working through them? I know academia isn’t unique, but no wonder we are all so burnt out.
