#SEBI organized the Investor Dialogue – Series 1 (Insurance and Pension Funds) on #InvITs and #REITs in collaboration with Indian REIT Association, and Bharat InvIT Association, in Mumbai on October 15, 2025, to deepen the participation of institutional investors and strengthen the REIT– InvIT ecosystem. This dialogue initiated by SEBI brought together the sectoral regulators viz., IRDAI and PFRDA along with the insurance companies, pension funds, REITs and InvITs. The event was attended by about 100 participants. Monetization of Government Assets through REITs and InvITs - Unlocking Capital for Infrastructure Development in India - A Strategic Framework for Public Asset Monetization Empowering India's sustainable growth and development! A meeting was held at Lucknow on 3rd October, 2025 between #SEBI and #UPGovt to raise awareness for leveraging REITs and InvITs as innovative instruments for #AssetMonetization, for accelerating infrastructure development and growth in Uttar Pradesh. The discussion was led by Dr. K V Raju, Economic Advisor to the Chief Minister, UP Govt. and Shri Amarjeet Singh, WTM, SEBI. Senior officials including Shri Pandhari Yadav (IAS, Principal Secretary – Externally Aided Projects and Science & Technology), Shri Alok Kumar (IAS, Principal Secretary – Planning), and Shri P. Guru Prasad (IAS, Principal Secretary – Urban Development & Housing) along with their teams, attended the meeting.
