💵 $10M in USDR and EURR: no hack, an exploit of StablR’s mint function Funding before the exploit: Secret Network → Noble → CCTP bridge → Ethereum. The original funding source became untraceable inside the privacy layer before the exploit even began. ⛓️‍Post exploit: funds were routed through DEX aggregators, swapped into thin liquidity, and converted far below the nominal $10M value. ETH was then split across multiple wallets. Part of the funds has already moved toward Tornado Cash. ⚒️ The trail was effectively broken before the first malicious transaction. 🧠 The biggest exploit in crypto today is social engineering. Fake Zoom calls. Fake approval pages. Fake “support teams.” Attackers stopped looking for protocol bugs and started targeting people with access. After the attack, funds don’t rush into mixers anymore. They fragment, move through bridges, convert into stablecoins, and drift through OTC layers. ⚙️ One-time address checks don’t cut it anymore. Modern KYT requires full transaction flow analysis after a compromise. The biggest hack of 2026 doesn’t happen on-chain. It happens when the user clicks “Approve.”
