We continue our #BlackHistoryMonth celebration of Black educators with the legacy of Anna Julia Cooper. A scholar, activist, and one of the first Black women to earn a Ph.D., she championed #edu as a tool for racial & gender equity. Her work continues to inspire generations.

A true hero has taken his final flight. ✈️ Lt. Col. Harry Stewart Jr., one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airman, has passed at 100. He broke barriers and defended a country that denied him equality when he returned home. His legacy soars on. Rest in Power, Lt. Col. Stewart.
