Ja’Kobe Tharp just broke the world record in the 110m hurdles during the NCAA Championship prelims. He ran 12.75(Previous World Record was 12.80 in 2012). Tharp’s personal best before this was 13.01. Dropping .26 seconds in the 110m hurdles is absurd.

A healthy church will always preach the hard truths of Scripture. We need to hear about sin and repentance just as much as God's grace and love.

My son is three years old. For the past two weeks he’s been at a summer camp a few hours a day. The teachers have complained to my wife three times already. Here’s what they reported: He pushed another kid. He didn’t sit still when told to. He tried to leave the room when they said no. He can’t stand in line. I’m not exaggerating. Grown adults pulled my wife aside, three times, to report that a three-year-old acts like a three-year-old. They warned her that if he doesn't change his behavior then he can't continue attending the camp. Maybe we should medicate him. Fix the defect of being a small boy with energy and a will. He won’t be going back. I don’t want people like this anywhere near my son. A civilization that pathologizes a toddler for refusing to sit in a line can't raise men willing to stand and defend it.

This morning @jimcramer stated that maybe $ADBE should be a $40B company (not $100B) because unlike $FIG and Canva - you need to take a class in order to use Adobe.... I guess that makes $ADBE a strong buy here heading into earnings later this week???? 😂🤣

If you are an aspiring lawyer, no need to chat, here is everything you need to know: Don’t do it unless (1) you get into a top-14 school, (2) you get a substantial scholarship to a regional school where you want to practice or (3) you are a weirdo and love the law.

If you’ve become even remotely successful in your profession, one of the greatest things you can do is give some of your time to those attempting to follow in your footsteps. A 30-minute conversation can literally change someone’s life. It’s such an incredible giveback.

Did I just ace a 373 yard par 4 at 9800 ft elevation? I think so, BUT... I didn't see the ball go in. I found my ball short and right of the green which was odd because my tee shot was tracking dead on with the front left pin. After chipping up to the green, I found another ball in the hole - exactly matching the one I hit from the tee AND the ball I chipped up to the green. What do you think, golf friends?

As long as they’ll allow it, I’ll walk my kids to school. Someday soon, I won’t get to do this ever again. Our mornings together will forever be some of my favorite memories. The conversations, laughs, and goodbye hugs are irreplaceable. I can’t think of anything more important.

hey, at least she didn't get aborted
The Husky@Mr_Husky1

She ate lunch alone for 730 days straight. What this 16-year-old built from that pain now protects millions of kids worldwide. Seventh grade. Natalie Hampton carried her tray through a packed cafeteria and felt it — that specific, suffocating dread of not knowing where to go. She'd already learned what happened when you approached the wrong table. The silence. The turned backs. The whispered laughter that followed you all the way to the empty table by the wall. The one everyone could see. The one that said: nobody wants her. For two full years — 730 consecutive lunches — that table was hers. Alone. The bullying went further than whispers. She was shoved into lockers. Four physical attacks in two weeks. She came home with scratches and bruises. When she finally reported it, school administrators sent her to counseling — to find out what she was doing wrong. The isolation grew so heavy she was hospitalized for anxiety. Then ninth grade came. A new school. And almost overnight — everything changed. Students welcomed her. She made friends within weeks. She finally knew what safe felt like. But she couldn't stop thinking about the kids still sitting at the wall table. Right now. Today. She remembered what she'd needed most during all those lunches. Not a teacher. Not a pamphlet. Just one person saying: "You can sit with us." So at 16 — with zero coding experience and "a lot of enthusiasm," as she put it — Natalie built exactly that. She called it Sit With Us. The idea was simple and genius: students sign up as "ambassadors," keeping their table open. Other kids privately browse available tables on their phones before ever walking into the cafeteria — and show up knowing they're already welcome. No public rejection. No moment of judgment. Just a guaranteed seat. Within 7 days of launching: 10,000 downloads. Then the world found her. NPR. The Washington Post. CBS News. Messages from Morocco, Australia, the Philippines, France — kids who'd been eating alone for years, finally finding a place to belong. Sit With Us now operates in 30 countries. "Even if it helps one person," Natalie said quietly, "it was worth building." She turned 730 lunches of loneliness into a lifeline for millions. That's not just survival. That's transformation.

God offers forgiveness for you and me. I thank Him you know this. My sins are egregious and separated me from Him until I accepted the substitutionary payment for my sins by Jesus on the cross. We will both rejoice in eternity, along with your child, in the glorious grace that He offered to make us right before God.

Sometimes I have to walk away from the “internet” for awhile. At age 19 I had an abortion. It was horrific for me but I can only imagine how horrific for my beautiful child. If it wasn’t for Jesus rescuing me years later, it’s quite possible I would have killed myself or become an addict like most in my family growing up. But God rescued me. He rescued me with a purpose to not only glorify Him but to expose the deeds of darkness. To speak up. Yes I’m forgiven for my abortion. But if you read about David all through the OT in the Bible. Sin has consequences. There isn’t one day that passes that I don’t see that empty chair at the dinner table. Wondering who she would be 😭😭😭😭 Abortion is murder. It’s a stain on this country and on this world. The blood of the innocent cry out. And trust me. Justice is coming FULL!
