In the case of a narcissist/psychopath: 1. Sharing with them something you are vulnerable about is like handing them a weapon. 2. Discussing something you are passionate about is a source for them of potential sadistic pleasure in terms of sabotaging your happiness around this passion. 3. Telling them about something you’ve done wrong is a source of leverage. 4. Discussing something in them that concerns you is a greenlight for them to start undermining you to others without your knowledge.

Just stayed at my friend's place last week and they've got a cat. Mind blown: you can't actually "put a cat to bed." You go to sleep thinking the house is yours... then at 3 AM this furry little dictator takes over. Zoomies, knocking shit off tables, staring into the void like it owes him money, and yelling at ghosts. The cat doesn't go to sleep - the house becomes his kingdom until sunrise. Who else got absolutely violated by cat night shift?😭😿
