Just to remind people. The UK post-Brexit joined the CPTPP trade bloc with 11 other countries, of a collective size on par with the EU but actually growing economies not stagnant ones. The terms of the CPTPP deal are far superior to the deals the EU has with those countries.

No one has ‘paid into’ the state pension. NI payments are spent by the government of the day, not put into a pot with your name on. Using these terms just perpetuates the myth that the state pension is a contributory scheme. It isn’t. It’s a non-means tested universal benefit paid for by current taxpayers.

This is simply untrue. The LSE study found that the impact of leaving on UK trade was around 1% of GDP, and with the increases in cost of membership we are actually net better off. Funny that Mark doesn't know that isn't it.
