How would you grade the #49ers CB Room?
• Deommodore Lenoir
• Renardo Green
• Upton Stout
• Jack Jones
• Nate Hobbs
• Darrell Luter Jr
• Jakob Robinson

English

@DylanBackerESM That’s the problem.. they aren’t contenders because they would get swept by the Thunder if they ever made it to the finals
English

@49ersSportsTalk D
Ji’Ayir Brown is awful
Mustapha has no coverage skills
Sigle is too inconsistent but he’s still better than Brown
English

How would you grade the #49ers Safeties room right now? 🤔
• Malik Mustapha
• Ji’Ayir Brown
• Marques Sigle
• Darrick Forrest
• Derrick Canteen
Drop your grade ⬇️ (A–F)

English

@grantcohn Jack Jones gives us great depth and he’s an upgrade over Darell Luter Jr. He’s not better than Green. Green allowed a 82 passer rating when targeted last year while Jones allowed a 119 passer rating when targeted.

@GeeKapel @Rebeccagbemudia @NoContextHumans If she just killed somebody then why the hell would he be chasing after her not scared of her having a gun
English

@Rebeccagbemudia @NoContextHumans She couldve just killed somebody and youd still side with her
You have no idea what she did
You have no idea who the good guy and bad guy are in this video 🤡

@49ersSportsTalk Now you are catching on!!! 9ers will either draft safety or OG. Not WR or Tackle that'll be buried behind veterans
English

The San Francisco 49ers are signing DE, Cam Sample.
- 6'3'', 272 lbs, 26 years old
- 2021 4th round pick out of Tulane
- Has played in 61 games with 4 starts
- 7 career sacks, 8 TFL, 26 QB hits
- Skilled rusher, but has tight hips, so he has to win with power and doesn't have much burst
- Has good length and packs a punch with his hands
- Could see the 49ers using him at DE and DT

Legit interest or a Smokescreen for Chris Bell?

The #49ers have been consistently linked to KC Concepcion in the upcoming draft 👀 Thoughts ⬇️
English

@sportslarryk If Kadyn Proctor falls to 27 that’s the pick. You can plug him in at left guard and they would have a dominant left side of the O-line to compete with Seattle.
English

If the #49ers go OL in Rd1 it will likely be for a plug/play LG Like Chase Bisontis instead of the OTs more often mocked to SF(Caleb Lomu, Kadyn Proctor, Max Iheanachor, Blake Miller). Bisontis is a dominant mauler in the run game. If you can’t move Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy you can’t beat Seattle! Makes sense to me.
NinerStats@NinerStats
Matt Maiocco on a potential surprise pick for the #49ers at 27: “Texas A&M guard Chase Bisontis—don’t be shocked, don’t fall out of your chair if that’s the name you hear on April 23rd when Commissioner Goodell makes the announcement.”
English

@NYK_Mentality85 Go beat Boston Thursday Night and those haters will silence down for a minute
English

I personally don't understand nor comprehend the negativity surrounding this team and these players by the hands of our own Knicks fans.
A.) We've won 51 games despite a new head coach while having to learn brand new Offensive and Defensive systems.
B.) We've got an opportunity to win 54 games for the 1st time since 2012-2013 of 13 years ago.
C.) We're featuring the 3rd best Offensive Rating, 6th best Defensive Rating and the 5th best NET Rating (despite Mitchell Robinson being load managed throughout the entire season).
And since our Players-only-Meeting (1-21-2026) dating back to 36 games ago?
Defensive Rating
#1: OKC
#2: New York
Offensive Rating
#1: Charlotte
#2: San Antonio
#3: Cleveland
#4: Denver
#5: New York
Net Rating:
#1: San Antonio
#2: Charlotte
#3: New York
We've gone 26-10 throughout our previous 36 games @ .722% (59 wins per 82 game season).
And last but not least we're being led by the greatest New York Knick since dating back to only Patrick Ewing in Jalen Brunson.

English

@DeepS8adversary @KnicksFanTv There’s only a 9 man rotation in playoffs and he’s not better than Shamet or Clarkson
English

@KnicksFanTv Diawara played himself into a rotation spot. He’s a stud
English

@sportslarryk Let’s trade a 2nd and 4th for Dexter Lawrence and another 4th for Thibs and grab both of them!! The D-line would be set and we could then just go BPA in round 1
English

I think a good plan for the #49ers would be to use (1) 4th round pick in a trade back to gain additional draft capital and then send a 5th to NY for Thibodeau
NFL Rumors@nflrums
The New York #Giants are expected to move Kayvon Thibodeau at the #NFLDraft
English

@BSDtakes @grantcohn He had 11.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss last season while winning SEC defensive player of the year. Thats a pretty damn good resume
English

@TheNolanater @49ersSportsTalk So then what do they do with McKivitz?
English

@BrianNiners46 @49ersSportsTalk We draft a OT he'll play day 1 at RT and move over to LT when Trent retires. We need OL help we draft a OL at 27 he'll be a day 1 starter.
English

Daniel Jeremiah believes the #49ers should prioritize EDGE over OT at pick 27.
Do you agree? 👀
DJ: "One of the interesting ones, to me, is a guy like Mesidor because he can kick inside and rush inside as well, and you could have a pretty dynamic package with him being able to do that on some third-down situations. So, he's an interesting one.
Former Texas A&M defensive end Cashius Howell is another option. Howell would give you the fast ball that would be fun to watch in that system as well, in an attacking front.”
Also mentioned if the 49ers trade back, he sees former UCF edge rusher Malachi Lawrence as a solid fit.

English

@TheNolanater @49ersSportsTalk So draft a OT at pick 27 just to have him sit on the bench for 2 years until Trent retires? When we desperately need another edge rusher? I’d rather get the player at 27 that can help us win in 2026
English

@49ersSportsTalk Disagree 100%. Luckily Daniel Jeremiah is usually wrong about our drafts. To replace Trent usually for a player like that you have to be top 10, this draft is rare a good OT a beast can be there at 27. We may not see this deep in the position for several years, have to get OT now
English

@sportslarryk He’s a great player but we have Green Lenoir and Stout… drafting a starting corner in top 2 rounds isn’t as big a need. We need a edge rusher and safety
English

The smart and safe pick for the #49ers would be D’Angelo Ponds. He’s an amazing prospect. His 43.5” vertical means he plays much bigger than his 5’9 size. Look at the list of WRs in this division alone:
Puka Nacua
JSN
Davante Adams
MHJ
Michael Wilson
Get Ponds. He’s 100% bust proof and SF MUST hit on its picks this year. Get Ponds!
Billy M@BillyM_91
D'Angelo Ponds and Denzel Boston didn't have many 1 on 1 snaps when they faced each other in 2024, but in the few they did Ponds completely erased him.
English

@tonyrenghini Agreed… Sam O needs to be like our 5th edge rusher on the depth chart. We need to grab to studs off the edge in this draft
English

The 49ers probably won't do this, but I am really warming up to the idea of double dipping at EDGE at 27/58.
This plan revolves around Miami EDGE Ahkeem Mesidor, who can not only win routinely from the edge, but also overwhelm guards.
He will be your #2 EDGE, but he can also rotate in with Mykel Williams and Osa Odighizuwa rushing from the interior. Keeps everyone fresh.
Then you can get a legit speed rusher to replace Bryce Huff at 58, with R Mason Thomas being my favorite name. He runs the arc with the rare trait of not losing speed when bending the corner.
The DL would go from good to excellent and create the depth it is sorely lacking. Not only to insulate against injuries, but to be able to rotate and keep guys fresh.
English

@Chase_Senior Now imagine Odighzuwa and Lawrence together at DT with Bosa and Mykel.
That would be a nasty D-line
English

Osa Odighizuwa is a better player right now than Dexter Lawrence and the 49ers got Osa for a 3rd round pick. The Giants are asking for a 1st or 2nd round pick for Lawrence.
Great trade for San Francisco this offseason.
