@xFatih @RLRottman @Prof_Atikin Its more fun this way too. Instant gratification is never fulfilling. Collecting is a marathon, not a sprint, you dont need every chase card immediately. I have a whole list of cards i plan to purchase eventually

Its the people i see dropping $2000 a month on packs of phantasmal not to pull the charizard, then crying about hit rates

@BubsCollection @RLRottman @Prof_Atikin I wanted to jump in Pokemon TGC, but the many people gambling and spending their whole bankaccounts put me off. Because I know prices will drop eventually after the current hype fades away. But good to know that there are normal people in the scene

@xFatih @RLRottman @Prof_Atikin Its very sad actually. You see people constantly saying “buying singles doesnt hit the same as pulling the chase”. Like youre literally describing dopamine addiction lol. Its no fun spending $1000 for a bunch of bulk and a couple hits worth $80 you didnt even want

@RLRottman @Prof_Atikin This. Most of pokemon “collectors” are just degenerate, dopamine chasing, gambling addicts spending their whole paycheck on cards. Ill rip a few here and there, but mostly just buy singles and collect sealed/singles/slabs

@Prof_Atikin Sure, they are. As long as there are people using sealed Pokémon to get their gambling fix, prices like this will remain. People who are in it for collecting or playing, and aren't chasing a dopamine hit, will continue to buy singles and bulk.
