I am Retail Mourinho and this is my story: My port hit €200k in October. It was €20k last year. But lets rewind. In 2024, I was sitting at my desk, writing my master’s thesis. €20k in my brokerage. I had no clue where this journey called „life“ would take me. I grinded hard, received the best grades and the best internships, then came the job. Six-figure salary. Everyone around me said: “You made it.” But than it hitted me. Emptiness. I realized my happiness doesn’t come from status and work. It comes from freedom. Freedom to spend time with my family, my future wife and kids. Freedom to live where I want. Freedom to choose how I spend my days. Freedom to not worry about the bills. Freedom to enable my mum to retire early and not being a modern slave in the corporate wheel. The corporate rat race makes me sick. My colleagues dream of climbing the ladder. I dream of escaping it. That‘s where my passion for the stock market comes from. A platform that allows everyone to make it. Will I still climb the ladder for now? Probably, to earn more, to invest more. But the moment I reach financial freedom? I’m out. No hesitation. My first Goal: 1 million by 2030, then we aiming 8 figures.
