I’m finishing Season 2 of ZZZ cuz I wasn’t really interested in the events from spoiling so much. And that STORY had me at the edge of my seat. So engaging for no reason. I love it.

@Remanance Deadass what I just realized this morning.

Construction methods are really great for learning anatomy but not like this. Ideally you learn it in the form of simplified 3D shapes, kinda like those wooden artist mannequins, and then build onto it over time as you learn more. If you work from references, you can imagine that construction posed the same as the ref and use that to help you. Importantly, it allows you to take what you learn from one study/ pose and take it into the next as youre understanding how the new stuff you learn is connected to the wider 3d shapes of your construction. The issue with doing this with 2D shapes is that as soon as you try to rotate the pose or do a different one then everything youve learnt kinda becomes redundant and doesnt make sense anymore.
