@salterfry I was thinking about you, hoping the world looked a little better this morning. As someone else who has depression (thank God for Lexapro), I know you have to feel your feels, and one of the best things anyone can say is, “I hear you. I care.” Besides, he didn’t deserve you.

Thanks everyone. Your kind words made me feel better. My boyfriend of 10 years moved out end of August last year. Found out he not only has a new girlfriend but they are moving in together. Less than a year later. Hit me sideways.

I had a really difficult week. My depression and anxiety, usually okay. This week got to me. I got myself drunk. Going to bed now. I am just so sad. About so many things. I was lied to for so long. And I didnt want to see it, so I didnt.

@salterfry I’ve never watched Pet Sematary because I read the ending of the book with every light on, shivering. No movie could compare. But Green Mile and Shawshank are masterpieces in both mediums. (I have aphantasia, so I can hear his characters, but sadly can’t see them in my head.)

@CCC_Lead I don't like watching movies based on his books for this reason! I know what the characters look and sound like. I also never read the epilogue to The Dark Tower. I know what happened to Roland. Drives my ex nuts!

Saw a friend and his wife this evening. I was asked whether or not I had a girlfriend. I said not. She said, you just need to get out and find one. I said it is not easy, and that women I am interested in are not interested in me, and vice versa. She said that is nonsense, I should just go find someone. I said it is not that easy, and I'm old, fat, and ugly. Her response? You're not that fat. For some reason Meatloaf is in my head....
