Best of luck to all 3rd and 6th Year students starting exams tomorrow. Special mention to the Technology based subject students who have done fantastic work all year in your projects and practical exams. Just one last hurdle!

And our winner of the 5th Year car steering project race was Francesco! Co gratulations and well done to everyone.

Great work from the 5th Year Engineering students this year. Brilliant variety in the controllers they designed with a mix of 3D printed and lasercut controllers, with the best in show controller (white controller in photos) designed and manufactured by Isaac.

1st Year car project completed. Well done everyone on a great years work.

Finally with a very different steering method was Ronán & David in 3rd place. Well done to everyone today. We hope you enjoyed your Microbit programming!

In 2nd place was Taylor & Oran. In a time of 20 seconds, but unfortunately a big corner cut at the end. Great work lads, well done.

Today winners of the Radio controlled Robot race. Great job lads.

Using Microbit Makecode programming this morning. TY students were controlling 2 DC Motor via radio communication. Great work class. Next class will be race week!

Well done today to the TY students and their Mircobit programming of our self made robot. Still some debugging required to get it around the bin and home again. Next week - Programming for a Remote control robot!

Well done to all the 2nd Year Graphics students you received they're CBA (Communicating through Sketching) results today. Excellent effort from everyone with this assignment.

Thankfully got the hot end replaced on the Ultimaker 3d printer this week. So far so so good on 1st print for the 3rd Yr JC project marble chute.

1st Year Christmas tree flashing LED projects completed with a week to spare this year. Great work from all.

5th year Engineering putting the finishing touches on their Car project. Rear wheel propulsion, steering mechanism, design your own controlling. Great work lads.

Well done to the 6th Year Engineering class who completed excellent work in their LC Day Practical exam this Wed & Thur. The very best of luck to those taking part in the LC Construction Studies Day Practical exam next week.

Excellent work by Isabel Fanning in 2nd year, Isabel is working hard every Friday improving her woodworking skills. This week she finished off some relief carving.
