When I think about the possibility of Chelsea hiring Iraola or Silva, I feel like throwing up; it turns my stomach. I felt the same way with Pochettino. In fact, I remember saying that I would rather take Kompany from Burnley in the Championship over him. It sounded stupid then, but for me, the squad profile is extremely important when considering a new coach. You can't have Alonso out there and free, yet you are talking about Iraola and Silva. Does it make any sense? For me, there shouldn't be a shortlist, rather we should be putting everything on getting Xabi Alonso done ASAP. Shortlist exist when you have short of serious target.
