These three 👇👇👇 Bruno has absolute clarity of a web3 tech vision and knows how to bring both our engineering dept and our ecosystem support in line with it. He doesn't build it and hope they will come, he doesn't build it the Algorand way and hope they will follow, he relentlessly inserts us in the middle of the game being played. From the Open Wallet Foundation to the X402 spec, he's going to put this technology front and center! Will took an underfunded wallet, an overworked team, and an overengineered tech stack and streamlined both its vision and its engineering. He's reduced tech debt and added critical features at the same time, and he's going to bring this same product discipline and keen customer appreciation to the entire organization to make our product delivery second to none! Brian rebuilt our devrel from the ground up and I'll be silent with my rhetoric on him as a person, as you already know him as a core pillar of our community. In his expanded role, he's going to be able to help developers even more than he currently does, as well as help institutions integrate our amazing technology. Brian will be responsible for eliminating all excuses for not using Algorand! So many well deserved congratulations to them all!

We’re excited to announce three promotions across the Foundation. Bruno Martins, formerly Chief Architect and twice acting CTO, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. Bruno will oversee protocol engineering and will bring his deep expertise in blockchain engineering, applied cryptography, and key management systems to drive Algorand’s future innovations. Will Beaumont, formerly Head of Pera Wallet, has been promoted to Global Head of Product & Integrations. Will will be responsible for product strategy and solutions delivery across both business and engineering, including the Pera Wallet. Brian Whippo, former Head of Developer Relations, has been promoted to Senior Director of Integrations & Developer Tooling. Brian will be responsible for developer relations and developer tooling, and he will build out a new practice to help businesses, ecosystem partners, and AI agents bring new activity on-chain.

Pera Joint Accounts come with the power of weighted signatures ⚖️ Here’s what it actually means: You want to be the one who signs every transaction, but still have real backup wallets in case your main one is ever unavailable. No problem. Just set up a 2/4 multisig and give your main wallet weight 2. The two backup wallets each get weight 1. You sign alone whenever you want. The backups only come in when you actually need them. Boom, done 💥 Same logic for a CEO with two board seats: give yourself weight 2, each board member weight 1 in a 2/4 (or whatever threshold fits). It’s built-in governance, no extra tools required. Multisig, finally made for humans 🤝 Coming soon 🙌
