Here are the brackets and matchups from today. What was the biggest surprise for you?

@Timothy_Treder It will vary because the rankings will vary. How much it changes will depend on the variability in the rankings. But my guess is there won’t be much change in the bracket composition, just seeding.

@CIFSSBrackets Curious what tomorrow looks like, compared to what you have shown all year. Very much appreciate your efforts. Hope it is close. It has been great for us small school division followers.

@4for4_John They had to apply as an at large team to get in, which they apparently did not. So I think they are out.

@CIFSSBrackets I saw another set of projections that had Legacy Christian Academy as the No. 23 seed in D2. They were No. 72 in the last rankings update. Do you think they get in?

We finally have our boys bracket predictions working properly, let us know if you see something out of sorts.

@kendallgreen05 Citrus Valley could have submitted a petition to be considered for an At-Large spot. It appears they did not file the petition. If they had, their ranking from last week would still put them out of the bracket as an At-Large in Div. 7, but behind other at-large teams in that div.

@CIFSSBrackets Would you be able to give some insight on Citrus Valley being DNQ designated despite their record, what would be some reasons for being ineligible for playoffs?

Division 7 has El Modena in with Canyon/Canyon but Heritage and Barstow are out.

Division 8 has Highland Hall in and Baldwin Park but EF Academy gets cut.

Div. 6 has Buckly and Fullerton in as at-large bids. But Dominguez, Jurapa Hills, Whittier Christian and Thacher are on the outside looking in right now.

Div. 5 has Mission Viejo and Verbum Dei as at-large bids in the bracket. The largest list of at-large teams missing is in division 5, including: Compton, Diamond Bar, Montclair, Hillcrest, Calvary Chapel/Santa Ana, Centennial/Compton, West Torrance, Temple City Pacifica (GG)

In Div. 4, @BBall_CulverHS , Corona and @ClaremontHoops look safe at a 12 team open division as at-large teams but @AGBUTitans is on the outside looking in. An 8 or 10 team open division would see @ClaremontHoops join them on the outs.

No other div. 3 at-large teams are missing unless it is an 8 or 10 team open division, in which case Walnut would be in trouble.

Div. 3 has @hoops7531 and @viewpointhoops in as at-large teams, unless Newport Harbor moves up 6 or more spots, or there is a 16-team open division.

For Div. 2, @RCHSBasketball needs to rise in the rankings above King or hope for 16-team open division.

Want another reason to make this year a 12-team open division? Because there are 278 auto-bids, an 8-team open div. would mean only 2 at-large bids per division. That would leave out @MaterDeiHoops and Thousand Oaks. @Tarek_Fattal @FrankieBur @ocvarsity @latsondheimer

@ServiteHoops and Canyon best hope is likely to get a move down the rankings to make it as an at-large in Div. 2. They would need to drop about 5-6 spots, which is not out of the question.

@OLuBBB is hoping they move higher than Thousand Oaks in the rankings to take their spot in Div. 1

Got some nervous At-Large teams tomorrow. @MaterDeiHoops is hoping @StFrancisHoops is an Open Div. team. They need them in the open to allow an extra spot for them in Div. 1
