I will briefly summarize what we reported in the article- just to entice but not as a spoiler. 1. We set out to reduce ER stress in pancreatic beta cells, as we suspected that beta cells are stressed by insulin synthesis burden in T2Ds (proinsulin to be exact). 1/x

Happy to share a preprint on our effort of building whole-body flux models. We integrated the key organismal metabolic parameter CO2 production rate and also its isotope labeling into the in vivo isotope tracing framework.

this is beyond insane. I assume it will be challenged in the courts immediately. Anyone who has run a research operation knows that this would spell the end of the enterprise as we know it. Who is going to pay for the energy, heat, air conditioning, OSHA, other facilities costs?
