I’d say there are scores of independent films however there’s not a substantive distribution model in place to get these films seen outside of a niche audience. A lot of these movies are just living in hard drives and viewed at the occasional screenings here and there.

America barely has an independent film scene, let alone an independent scene for radical political movies. This discourse is funny because it’s all pure fantasy. This country doesn’t care about the arts and that includes the people who like to pretend that they would support it.

It seems like Amanda is doing some weird psycho swap w/ Ciara and using her as a placeholder to air her own grievances bc she, too, feels she’s being played by West bc by this point, they likely had already been messing around. Her “support” for Ciara feels like overcompensation.
