A'ja Wilson, the WNBA's first ever four-time MVP, is signing a three-year, $5 million supermax contract to return to the Las Vegas Aces, sources tell me and @Andraya_Carter. The deal, which is the largest in WNBA history to date and fully guaranteed, was negotiated by Jade-Li English of Klutch Sports Group.

NBA fans are moving towards loving to watch all different types of basketball instead of a specific team or player. Everyone likes a villain but people love a hero and in today’s league being honest about your emotions is enough for people to root for you.

Maybe I’m just old now because I definitely laughed at Pat Bev jumping on the scorers table a couple years ago….but the Hornets should be celebrating like crazy. The franchise literally doesn’t have much history in the playoffs. That game was epic. Sports are fun when games mean something. Who cares if from a records point of view this game never existed.

The Hornets are one win away from creating a bit of NC sports history.
A win in the next play-in game would mean the Panthers, Hornets and Hurricanes each made the playoffs in the same season.
