You just can't have a sane debate with people who have decided on their own truth. You just can't. In my case, they are everyone. This is a gray world. There are things I agree with and also disagree with in almost every political and social ideology. How can we solve this?

I would not say there’s no manufacturing in India. Simply put if an iPhone costs 100, India adds 20 in value, while 80 comes from imported components (China, Taiwan, South Korea). This is normal. You start with assembly and gradually move up the value chain. Not long ago, this number was near zero now it’s 20% and growing. 20 25 30 35 40...... The key is direction, not perfection.

Reducing what goes on in a boy’s head on his birthday to fake maturity is an evidence to how insensitive the other gender can be to a boy, many times even in relationships. For boys, a lot of expectations are attached to age While birthday is a call for studio photoshoot for some for many boys, new age is a reminder of the apartment of their own that they should have had It’s a reminder that they are getting too old to be where they’re financially, academically and relationship wise etc On a normal day a boy could just sit and start thinking of how to move forward in life, that thinking is more intense on a birthday So if they don’t send a picture of themselves as broadcast to all contacts on WhatsApp group for a repost, it’s not a flex They are grateful for life, but when they have something truly worth celebrating they won’t hold back It’s not fake maturity, we are usually on a date with reality and reality is not friendly.

If a news outlet had at least occasionally supported Modi or spoken in a fair, non critical way about some of his policies, I would take its criticism far more seriously. That would make the criticism feel credible. But with outlets like The Diplomat, it often starts to feel less like objective analysis and more like: ‘He’s a right wing leader, so we will attack him no matter what.'

In 1960, South Korea’s per capita income was $94. India’s was $82. China was neck and neck with us through the 1970s, India was actually ahead of China in 1980. But today Korea is 13 times richer than us in per capita terms, China is 5 times richer, Singapore is 38 times richer. Same starting point, just one difference, they freed their people to build. But the License-Permit-Quota Raj of Congress caged our economy and wealth creators.

You don’t have any geopolitical responsibility for the Indian state if something goes wrong, you don’t have to respond, they do. I am a Hindu nationalist, but I don’t want to send Indian Muslims or Christians anywhere.Some argue that since Partition already created separate Islamic countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, India cannot be expected to remain fully secular. However, I personally believe India should and will remain secular. And even if I stand against this argument, those people are justified in having their opinion.

She kept dilly-dallying about her father's origin...till she was pointedly asked if her father was fully Indian....lol Compare that to her response about her mother's ancestry....she knew exactly that her mother was half German, quarter English and mixed European and she was forthcoming about it. Imagine hating your own skin, your parents...I hope she realises that she will always be brown and Priya and she will never be Pamela with white skin and blonde hair.
